Election - Vacant Shop

In the film, this is home to Simon Yam's Wine & Oyster Bar.

Many thanks, once again, to Isamu for this one; he has an incredible collection of Hong Kong movie locations which he has photographed here.

Election - Lei Yue Mun

This is the harbour where Tony Leung meets up with a spoon eating Nick Cheung and Samuel Kwok.

Thanks again to Phil from the super Hong Kong (& Macau) Stuff / Hong Kong (& Macau) Film Stuff blogs, who is quite the spotter. And, because you don't get a great shot of the harbour on Street View, I've gone with this Panoramio image (thanks ymz).

Election - Fei Ngo Shan

This rocky outcrop is at Fei Ngo Shan or the Kowloon Peak; not somewhere that you'd want Tony Leung to put you in a box and kick you off...

Thanks to the eagle-eyes of Phil from the Hong Kong (& Macau) Stuff / Hong Kong (& Macau) Film Stuff blogs, who is quite the spotter. Oh, and as there's no image on Street View, I've used one from TripnTale.com (thanks nowzone), which shows the same outcrop.

Election - Kowloon Reservoir

This is the reservoir where Simon Yam takes his son and Tony Leung fishing. There isn't a Street View, but there's a pic on Panoramio (thanks to Percy Tai)and you can actually see the steps that Simon Yam's kid and Tony Leung's wife were fishing from - middle-left of the image.

Election - Wu Kai Sha Youth Village

In the film, it's a retirement home or clinic, where Louis Koo goes to visit one of the uncles. It's actually the Wu Kai Sha Youth Village. It hasn't been covered on Street View, but there's a pic on Panoramio (thanks to Baycrest); there seems to be bungalows available in pink, blue or cream.

Election - Cameron Road

This is the street that Tony Leung is looking down in Tsim Sha Tsui, where he declares "Let's make money together!" to Simon Yam. They're standing on the corner of the roof of the building which I have marked on the map.

Election - Yau Ma Tei Police Station

The police station where Tony Leung was being held.

Election - Wan Chai Police Station

The police station where Simon Yam was being held.

Election - Hing Yip Street

Louis Koo, Nick Cheng, a tin of paint, some big knives, a bunch of triads and a bin...

Election - Wing Lok Street

Thanks to Phil from the super Hong Kong (& Macau) Stuff / Hong Kong (& Macau) Film Stuff blogs, for coming to my aid when hit by a mental block...

This spot on Wing Lok Street, between Grand Millennium Plaza and the Cosco Tower (which I must have walked across dozens of times), is where Robert Hung and San Sin are unceremoniously dumped out of the back of a van.

Election - Macpherson Playground

A spot for Wong Tin-Lam to take his dog for a walk and talk shop with a couple of the other uncles, followed up with a bit of road rage...

Election - Very Good Tailor

Well, if it's good enough for big Tony Leung to get his suits from, then it must be very good.

Election - Wang Lee Mahjong

The cafe / mahjong parlour where Loius Koo and Robert Hung go to pay off San Sin. Thanks to Phil from Hong Kong (& Macau) Stuff / Hong Kong (& Macau) Film Stuff blogs for the linguistic detective work and Gary from Film Pilgrimage / Hong Kong Cinemagic for the English name of the parlour.
