Young And Dangerous : The Prequel - Lam Tin Service Reservoir Playground

This is the playground where Nicholas Tse and Francis Ng first cross paths. The large housing blocks on the northern side of the playground have long since vanished, however the back of St Pauls's School remains easily identifiable.

Thanks again to 阿佳(A-KAI) from the Hong Kong, My Love blog, for another great find.

Young And Dangerous : The Prequel - Soy Street

This little stretch of Soy Street, which runs between Nathan Road and Portland Street, is where Yu Ka-Ho bumps into Sandra Ng and Kirsty Yeung...

Young And Dangerous : The Prequel - Sands Street

Well, within the context of the film, I have no idea where this is meant to be: outside Shu Qi's, outside Nicholas Tse's or outside the gym there Frankie Ng's boys hang out. Any hoo, it's where Daniel Wu hangs out to look a little emo and chain smoke.

Young And Dangerous : The Prequel - Wong Nai Chung Road

The location of the bench where Nicholas Tse and Shu Qi chat.

Young And Dangerous : The Prequel - Po Leung Kuk

So, it turns out that Shu Qi was heading to see someone at Po Leung Kuk (a social services charity, in particular the protection of women and children), when Nicholas Tse was following her.

Young And Dangerous : The Prequel - East Point Road

This is where Nicholas Tse sees / spies on / stalks Shu Qi. The screen cap shows Shu Qi in the foreground (bottom-left) on the crossing, Nicholas Tse behind the railing (centre), with the phone boxes and the escalator where he hid behind (top-left).

Young And Dangerous : The Prequel - Jordan Road Elevated Walkway

Where Frankie Ng tells Sam Lee the dangers of heroin.

Since the filming of this scene, a new arm of the walkway has been added to this spot. Still, the steps and the slight kink (where the ramp reaches the main stretch of walkway) are the same.

Young And Dangerous : The Prequel - Corner of Arran Street and Lai Chi Kok Road

This is the sport where the boys wait around for the target of their first hit. The pursuit that follows takes them down to the junction with Nathan Road.

Young And Dangerous : The Prequel - Ming Kei College

(The Church of Christ in China) Ming Kei College is where Nicholas Tse and the boys are at school. This shot comes just after their entry in to the singing contest and just before they are given a beating on the stretch of Oak Street outside. To be honest, I'm a little surprised that the school didn't ask for them to use a fake name for it...

Young And Dangerous : The Prequel - The Lower Gough Redoubt

Where Nicholas Tse and the rest of the boys go to hang out after school. There isn't a Street View of the redoubt, but this Panoramio image which shows the circular structure where a gun once sat and looks across to Hong Kong Island at the same angle (thanks to skypointer).

Infernal Affairs 2 - Lai Yip Street Cooked Food Hawker Bazaar

This is the spot where the Francis Ng and the rest of the Ngai family head to for late night snacks.

Many thanks to Isamu for this one; he has an incredible collection of Hong Kong movie locations which he has photographed here.

Infernal Affairs - Sunshine Kowloon Bay Cargo Centre

Well, the police claim that it's the Lung Cheung Road Car Park that Eric Tsang is heading to, but it's actually the Sunshine Kowloon Bay Cargo Centre. Once again, thanks to Baycrest for the spot.

Young And Dangerous - Hay Wa Building

This is the location of the sauna, where Ekin Cheng and the boys go to take out Joe Cheng, and the stretch of road where the subsequent scuffle takes place. Well, the neon sign for Diamond Palace Sauna (?) and the Broadway Seafood Restaurant seems to have gone, as does the sauna and restaurant. The trees have grown and the only identifiable feature is the sign for 'The Curry House'.

Young And Dangerous - O'Brien Road

The alleyway just off O'Brien Road, running parallel to Thomson Road is where Francis Ng is lured to by Jerry Lamb. O'Brien Road hasn't been covered on Street View as it is pedestrianised, but this is pretty much the view of the cop.

Young And Dangerous - Yuet Heung Restaurant

Where Francis Ng goes to see his mother on her birthday.

Young And Dangerous - 441-483 Lockhart Road

A heavily used stretch of road in this film. At one end you have Lippo House / Causeway Bay Plaza 2, where the boys meet Gigi Lai for the first time, as she tries to extort money for returning Ekin Cheng's car. then you have the return of Jordan Chan! The dai pai dong (open-air food stall) under the flyover (at the junction of Lockhart Road and Canal Road East) has long since vanished. Then, there's final shot of the film, with the return of Simon Yam, which is outside the 7-11, opposite Lippo House.

Young And Dangerous - Kowloon Funeral Parlour

This is where respects are paid to Frankie Ng.

Young And Dangerous - Sai Kung Hoi Pong Street

Sai Kung Hoi Pong Street (or Seafood Street, as it is sometimes referred to) is where Ekin Cheng and the boys go to see Shing Fui-On about his stolen car.

Infernal Affairs 2 - Star Ferry Multi-storey Car Park

The rooftop car park, where the deal is going down. The building back-left is the HSBC Headquarters Building, front-centre- right is the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

Infernal Affairs 2 - Jumbo Floating Restaurant

The famous Jumbo Floating Restaurant in Aberdeen. There's not a good angle on Street View, but there's a nice Panoramio pic (thanks to Stewart Walker).
