Mei Foo Sun Chuen, or simply Mei Foo, is a large residential development built on reclaimed land, formerly home to the Mobil petroleum storage facility. Indeed, in the screen cap, the old chimney stack is still standing.
This is where Sammo Hung and Frankie Chan's apartment is, and the stretch of Lai Wan Road in front of Lai Chi Kok Park (from Nassau Street to Broadway Street) is where a lot of the scenes in that area are films. As a point to note, this is also the estate where Andy Lau and Deannie Yip live, in 'A Simple Life'...
